Social Care Operations PWA
A staff operations PWA for a UK social care provider — installable on any device, replacing scattered paperwork and group chats.

The problem
Like most small-to-mid social care organisations, the client was running staff operations across a patchwork of WhatsApp groups, paper forms, and shared spreadsheets. Information went missing, accountability was fuzzy, and there was no single source of truth for who was doing what, when.
Off-the-shelf platforms were either too expensive, too rigid, or too generic for the way the organisation actually worked.
What I built
Progressive Web App
Installable on phones, tablets, and desktops without an app-store deployment.
Staff operations management
Assignments, schedules, task tracking.
Role-based access
Managers, frontline staff, and admin all see the right view.
Operational records
Replacing scattered paperwork with structured, searchable entries.
Real-time updates
Staff see changes immediately across devices.
Care-sector-appropriate UI
Clean, calm, usable on a phone mid-shift.










The outcome
The PWA replaced a stack of disconnected tools with a single, installable app that works on every device the staff already own — no procurement of new hardware, no app-store delays.
The build also became a reference case for the next product I'm working on (Aiderra), proving the operational patterns that scale across UK care providers.
